Waterfalls and Buffalo

Rancheria Falls

Highway Sign Forest!

Wild Buffalo in B.C., Canada

My what big eyes you have!
We saw three different black bears and several buffalo within a 30 minute time slot and didn't see anymore wild animals until several hours later somewhere north or west of Ft. Nelson.  We were driving in dusk and then into the night and saw herds of elk right by the road as well as herds of wild buffalo, porcupines, a ptarmigan and a coyote.  It was pretty exciting to see so many animals out in the wild.  It was also the only time that we were snowed on in the entire trip.
